Biography
Ashleigh Graveline, OTD, OTR/L, CPRP is an Occupational Therapist with 16+ years of experience treating patients in multiple clinical settings including acute care and mental health, with 10 years of experience concentrated in the inpatient mental health setting. Ashleigh currently is a Clinical Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at 91短视频 and recently received her specialty certification as a Certified psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP). Her area of expertise includes advocating for and promoting preventative mental health services within the community setting while utilizing the principle that recovering from serious mental illness is possible. She is the Chair of the IPE committee and is working on increasing interprofessional educational opportunities for graduate healthcare students (OT, PT, PA, and EMT) to enable effective collaboration to improve health outcomes. Ashleigh has previously completed research in the area of mental health focusing on the use of comfort rooms to reduce restraint and seclusion. Her expertise is focused within the mental health setting, assessing the positive impact of psychiatric rehab on individuals with mental illness and the use of interprofessional educational opportunities to improve overall health outcomes.
